Day 1

Differentiation

Tuesday 27 October, 11:00 to 13:30

  • Product and quotient rule
  • Differentiating trig, logs and exponentials
  • Related rates of change
  • Max and min problems
  • Long functions questions, and the short ones: slopes, equation of a tangent, increasing and decreasing
Day 2

Integration

Wednesday 28 October, 11:00 to 13:30

  • Indefinite and definite integrals
  • Area under a curve
  • Average values
  • Anti-derivative problems
Day 3

Probability

Thursday 29 October, 11:00 to 13:30

  • The fundamental principle of counting
  • Combinations and arrangements
  • Bernoulli trials

Is this the right three days?

Who this is for

  • Every Leaving Cert Higher Level student. If you are sitting Higher Level maths, this is for you, whatever you are getting at the moment.
  • 6th years, and 5th years who want a head start on the topics that carry the most marks.
  • Students who are already doing well and want the last few marks, and students for whom calculus has never once made sense.

Who this is not for

  • Ordinary Level students. This is Higher Level paper work throughout.
  • Anyone looking for a full course revision, this covers three topics only.

What if I miss a day?

Watch the recording. You get access to all three regardless.

What do I need?

A notebook, a pen and the ability to join on a laptop or tablet. We send the joining link and notes the day before.

Is this Higher or Ordinary Level?

Higher Level only.

Can I get a refund?

Full refund up to 24 hours before day one. After that the recordings have been released, so no.
